Cashmere & Wool Care

Luxury lasts when cared for with love. Preserve the softness and longevity of your cashmere and wool with our curated guide to hand-washing and maintaining your most-loved KADA pieces.

Hand Wash

STEP 1: Hand Wash

Handwashing is the gentlest way to care for your sweaters. Fill a basin with cold water and a tablespoon of mild, eco-friendly detergent. Turn your sweater inside out, submerge, and gently swirl. Let it soak for 5–10 minutes.

STEP 2: Rinse

Drain the basin and refill with cold water. Gently swish the sweater to rinse, taking care to avoid stretching the fabric. Repeat as needed until suds are removed. Press out excess water gently—never wring or twist, as wet fibers are especially delicate.

Lay Flat to Dry

STEP 3: Lay Flat to Dry

Lay the sweater flat on a dry towel, then roll them together, gently pressing to absorb moisture. Unroll and lay the sweater on a fresh towel, reshape, and let it air dry for 12–24 hours, depending on the knit’s thickness.

STEP 4: Fold and Preserve

Fold cashmere and wool sweaters and store them in airtight bags to prevent pilling and moth damage. Avoid hanging, as it can cause stretching over time.
